Judith Ann Sullivan

Judith has more than 30 years of experience and 
holds a degree in Podiatric Medicine. Providing clinical care 
as well as home visits, she has helped shed light on one of 
the more neglected parts of our bodies. Providing care and raising health awareness is just one of her passions, along 
with being part of an independent motivated Podiatry team. 
Her dedication to service and Betafeet Podiatry excellence is what sets us apart. She is a registered member of the Health 
and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Judith does home 
visits on Tuesdays in the Hemel area and on Thursdays in the Tring area. You can visit Judith at our Hemel clinic on Mondays and at our Tring clinic on Wednesdays.

Mrs Robyn L Carter-Wale

Mrs. Robyn Carter-Wale is a highly experienced and dedicated podiatrist. She has spent over 20 years working across London NHS Trusts in community foot health teams, acute hospital settings, and interdisciplinary teams. Her commitment to continuous professional development is evident through her achievements. 

She currently holds a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon post with Central London and Community Healthcare NHS Trust but divides her time between a specialist foot surgery team and providing expert podiatry care to patients at a general podiatry practice.

Throughout her career, Mrs Carter-Wale has been involved with over 4500 foot and ankle surgeries including procedures for bunions, toe deformities, tendon, soft tissue and arthritic conditions of the foot and high-risk/diabetic limb salvage. She is also a qualified non-medical independent prescriber, CASE accredited sonographer and has extended scope training in lower limb anaesthesia and injection therapies.

As a result of her training and experience, she has developed a comprehensive skill set that has equipped her with the clinical acumen necessary to deliver excellent patient outcomes with very low complication rates.

Her professional approach is rooted in ethical and compassionate care, understanding the social and economic factors influencing her patients' conditions. She aims to prioritise a holistic, patient-centred approach that addresses both the immediate and long-term needs of those under her care and tailored treatment plans to meet individual needs.

In addition to her clinical work, Mrs Carter-Wale served on the Faculty of Podiatric Surgery Committee (2020-2023). She engages in national-level lecturing, including supporting the teaching at Brunel University for their Foot and Ankle musculoskeletal ultrasound program. She remains actively involved in research by participating in journal clubs, deanery meetings, and collaborating with the Royal College Faculty of Podiatric Surgery research network of which she is a founding member. 

Driven by a passion for learning and innovation, she continues to challenge herself to stay at the forefront of her field, ensuring her patients receive the highest standard of treatment.

Mrs Fonti Bentley

PODIATRIST & DIABETIC SPECIALIST
(Tring)

Fonti graduated from the University of East London in 2013 obtaining a First Class Bachelors of Science degree in Podiatric Medicine and won an award for the overall highest clinical grade achieved in her cohort.

You can find Fonti at our Tring clinic on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Fonti is passionate about podiatry and has worked for some of the UK’s leading medical institutions including Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, Kensington and Chelsea NHS Trust, Westminister NHS Trust, Brent and Ealing NHS Trust as well as attending rotations at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London’s St Martins-in-Field Homeless shelter and London’s leading Kings College Diabetic Foot Clinic.

Fonti worked for Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust as a Specialist Podiatrist where she worked as part of an autonomous team responsible for diabetic and high risk patients with a wide variety of foot complaints, including:
  • Nail and skin pathologies
  • Wound care management
  • Musculo-skeletal disorders
  • Prescribing and fitting orthotics /devices
  • Providing Nail surgery

Christina Ioannou

Christina Ioannou BSc (Hons) Podiatric Medicine MRCPod CH31211

Christina graduated in 2008 with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine from the University of East London. Her 
background is in MSK Podiatry and she has worked as a Biomechanics and Orthopaedic Specialist Podiatrist across Central London privately and in the NHS both 
in community and in the Hospital setting for many years. 
She has vast experience in manufacturing insoles and 
orthotics in the lab, modifying off the shelve insoles in clinic, 
as well as casting for the prescription of bespoke 
foot orthotics. 

She has worked alongside the Elderly medicine and Rheumatology consultants in St Mary’s, Chelsea and 
Westminster and Charing Cross Hospitals in London 
which has taught her invaluable skills and reiterated the importance of looking at the patient holistically which is something she always strives to do. 

She has had further training and is qualified in administering corticosteroid injections for joint and soft tissue pathologies in
the foot. She has a special interest in nail surgery performed under local anaesthesia and has been leading on 
Nail Surgery in the NHS for years across Central London 
and Hertfordshire.

She is passionate about what she does, and tries to make a positive difference in her patients’ lives daily. You can find Christina at our Tring clinic on a Saturday.

DANIELLE KEMPSTER

PODIATRIST
(Hemel Hempstead, Tring)

Danielle practices general podiatry, at our Tring and Hemel branches. She has worked within the NHS carrying out various rotations and attended the London marathon as part of the medical team. She graduated from the University of Northampton with a first class Honours degree in Podiatric Medicine. Danielle enjoys all aspects of Podiatry helping patients manage and resolve their foot issues, including prescribing insoles and orthoses. 

Danielle can be found in the Tring clinic on a Monday and a Thursday, and at the Hemel clinic on a Tuesday, Wednesday and alternate Fridays and Saturdays.
